Albert Mackey
"The religion of Freemasonry is not Christian."
Mackey was the Master of Solomon's Lodge No.1 in 1843. He served as Grand Lecturer and Grand Secretary of The Grand Lodge of South Carolina, as well as Secretary General of the Supreme Council of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite for the Southern Jurisdiction of the United States.
Albert Pike
Pike served as the Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Council, Scottish Rite (Southern Jurisdiction, USA) from 1859 to 1891.
Pike predicted the czars of Russia would fall during a first great conflict, that Nazism would be destroyed while communism would rise during a second great conflict, and that the Zionists would battle Islamic leaders in a third and final great conflict during which they would “mutually destroy each other.” After this apocalyptic last battle, the survivors would “receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer.”
He stated that ‘Lucifer’ was not a name for the devil, but an emblem of the illuminating force of reason (translated from Latin, the name actually means as ‘light-bringer’). Pike went on to explain that Lucifer represents free will, which was “created for good, but which may serve for evil.” This view is straight out of the Gnosticism of Jesus' time, and the Hermetecism of ancient Egypt prior to that.
Manly P. Hall
His seminal work was The Secret Teachings of All Ages. Hall was recognized as a 33° Mason at a ceremony held at the Philosophical Research Society by the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite.
Forces Occultes
A French movie from 1943 that exposes the inner rituals of Freemasonry of the time. The director, Jean Mamy, director the film under a pseudonym "Paul Richie" - obviously because of the nature of the film. It was his last film. He died in 1949 at 37 years old.
