We find in many ancient writings, including the Bible, that there was a prophecy given by God to Adam that said there would be exactly 5,500 years from Adam to Christ. The coming of the Redeemer was foretold with pinpoint accuracy, if we have ears to hear, and a willingness to study for ourselves.
