Does 2 Timothy Condemn Preterists?

A small passage in 2 Timothy seems to condemn Preterism. Hymenaeus and Philetus were condemned by Paul in 2 Timothy 2:17-18, for saying that the resurrection is past already. Is that really what they said? Or what it means?
